One of Mick Vials’ favourite days fishing of all time was a trip to the River Trent way back in the day. The bait was steak and mince and the tactic was the float! He went on to catch over 60 chub!
He was desperate to get back on the river to have a go with this unusual bait choice and sure enough it proved its worth once again!
It is an amazing bait combination and one that chub in particular cannot resist.
